New Postage Stamps Issued
Pyongyang, October 6 (KCNA) -- The State Stamp Bureau of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea has issued a sheetlet, sheet and individual stamp to mark the 65th anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea.

The WPK was founded by President Kim Il Sung on October 10, Juche 34 (1945).

Since then the Korean people, with a great political guide and true protector of their destiny, have brought about an epoch-making turn in shaping their destiny in an independent way and achieving the prosperity of the country.

Seen in the upper and lower parts of the sheetlet are such inscriptions as "Celebration of the 65th anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea", "Juche 34 (1945)-Juche 99 (2010)" and "Long live the Workers' Party of Korea, which organizes and guides all victories of the Korean people!"

Printed in the center of the sheetlet are art works showing immortal feats performed by the President in successfully building the army and the state and turning Korea, once backward, into a socialist power.

The sheet contains an art work of the President watching the flag of the WPK while the individual stamp carries a picture of the party's red flag marked with a hammer, sickle and brush.
