Inter-Korean Red Cross Working Contact Made
Pyongyang, October 1 (KCNA) -- The third round of the inter-Korean Red Cross working contact for the reunion of separated families and relatives was made in Kaesong Friday.

At the contact the DPRK side advanced a draft agreement which rationally adjusted the issues including the issue on the venue of reunion left undecided at the previous two rounds of contacts.

It agreed to meet the request of the south side to choose the Mt. Kumgang Reunion Center as the venue of the reunion by accepting it with magnanimity out of noble compatriotism and from humanitarian stand.

Thanks to the positive and sincere efforts of the DPRK side, both sides at the contact adopted an agreement on holding the reunion of separated families and relatives at the Mt. Kumgang Reunion Center and Kumgangsan Hotel from October 30 to November 5 and holding inter-Korean Red Cross talks in Kaesong on October 26 and 27 in order to solve humanitarian issues including the matter of putting the reunion on a normal basis.

This made it possible to bring great joy to all Koreans in the north and the south and overseas desirous of successful realization of the reunion of separated families and relatives.
