Press Conference Held at Cuban Embassy
Pyongyang, September 23 (KCNA) -- A press conference took place at the Cuban embassy in the DPRK on Thursday as regards the issue of forcing the U.S. to lift blockade against Cuba and release five Cuban patriots held in the U.S. prison.

Present there were Choe Han Chun, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea who doubles as chairman of the Korean Committee for the Release of Cuban Patriots, media-persons in the fields of the press, telecommunications and radio in Pyongyang and officials concerned.

Staff members of the Cuban embassy were also present there.

Jose Manuel Galego Montano, Cuban ambassador to the DPRK, in his speech at the press conference referred to the fact that the struggle for the release of the Cuban patriots unreasonably detained in the U.S. is going on in many countries.

He said that the Cuban people are waging an indomitable struggle against the vicious moves of the U.S., expressing belief that the friendly and cooperative relations between Cuba and the DPRK would grow stronger in the future, too.

Then Choe Han Chun spoke next.
