Present there were officials of the DPRK Red Cross Society and the delegation of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and members of the International Committee of the Red Cross working in the DPRK.

A first aid workshop was held for Red Cross officials at the event.

Theoretical and practical issues on the first aid in the populated areas were introduced at the workshop.

Then followed speeches on Red Cross activities including the dissemination of knowledge about first aid.
