Probe into Truth behind "Cheonan" Called for in S. Korea
Pyongyang, September 20 (KCNA) -- "National Assemblymen" from opposition parties of south Korea held an emergency meeting as regards a final report on the "Cheonan" case at the Hall of "National Assemblymen" on Sept. 15 at which they demanded probe into the truth behind the case.

They dismissed the final report as one full of doubts, saying that the place where a witness testified he saw for himself a column of water caused by explosion was opposite to where the warship actually sank and there were abnormal traces on some blades of a screw but they remained undamaged except for being bent.

Key data were not reflected in the report, in particular, they charged, noting that the report did not clarify where the ship was heading and how it sank, adding that not all telegraphic messages were made public.

They raised such questions that the report did not include the specification of the underwater boat which allegedly attacked the warship and its navigational route, etc. and the composition of aluminum oxide and the results of experiment conducted by the Ministry of Defense to verify it.

They urged the ministry to conduct inspection of state administration to correctly probe the truth, given that the final report presented by the ministry failed to clear people's doubts.
