He accused the commander of the south Korea-U.S. Combined Forces Command of blustering on Sept. 9 that the Ulji Freedom Guardian joint military exercises of the U.S. and the south Korean puppet authorities were "exercises for stabilizing the north".

His disclosure of the above-said fact which amounts to a military secret brought to light the U.S. sinister intention to escalate the military tension on the Korean Peninsula and persistently pursue confrontation with the north, he held.

What merits more serious attention is that this warmonger compared the present reality on the peninsula with what is taking place in Iraq and Afghanistan, he noted, terming this a reckless attempt to stifle the north by force of arms.

It is the unanimous desire of the people to defuse the tension on the peninsula and achieve reconciliation, cooperation and peaceful reunification between the south and the north, he said, adding that going against this trend is obviously anti-reunification act and an act of aggression.

There is no ground whatsoever for the U.S. forces to stay in this land, he declared, urging the Lee Myung Bak bellicose forces to stop toeing the U.S. policy of war.
