The president of the Bangladesh People's League and other speakers noted that President Kim Il Sung achieved the historic cause of national liberation and then founded the DPRK and wisely led it, thus building in Korea a socialist power independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defence.

His unique idea on state building and exploits have been creditably carried forward by General Secretary Kim Jong Il, they said, adding that the DPRK is demonstrating its might as a politico-ideological and military power under the Songun leadership of Kim Jong Il.

A vice-president of an Indonesian university said that the DPRK has turned into a genuine people's country the world progressives had idealized. The credit for all these successes goes to the wise leadership of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, he stressed.
