Pyongyang, September 14 (KCNA) -- The Pyongyang Optical Center, situated in Pothonggang District, Pyongyang, has recently developed a new technology of testing eyesight and adjusting glasses.

This technology enjoys popularity at home and abroad for its correct test and precise adjustment.

The center runs a glasses shop.

It, which has several thousand kinds of rims and lens, has conducted technical exchange with southeastern Asian countries in visual power measurement, lens processing, etc.

Kim Sang Ju, manager of the center, told KCNA that it had provided services to more than 228,000 people at the age ranging from 5 to 95 since it was opened in June Juche 75 (1986).

Among the customers are embassy officials in Pyongyang and other foreigners visiting the DPRK.
