On display in the venue of the exhibition were works of President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il, photos showing their exploits, books and photos introducing Songun Korea and handicrafts associated with the wisdom and talents of the Korean people.

Speeches were made at the events.

The mayor of Sboge City of Bulgaria and the chairman of the Bulgaria-Korea Friendship Association expressed conviction that under the Songun leadership of Kim Jong Il the Korean people would surely emerge victorious in the struggle to frustrate the imperialists' vicious moves against the DPRK, build a thriving nation and achieve national reunification.

The delegate president of the France-Korea Friendship Association said that Kim Il Sung founded the DPRK, enabling the Korean people to emerge genuine masters of the country and fully enjoy a worthwhile life and turning the country into a socialist power, independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defence.

The Songun politics pursued by Kim Jong Il serves as a weapon for firmly defending the sovereignty and dignity of the DPRK despite the evermore undisguised moves of the U.S. imperialists to threaten and stifle it by force of arms and guaranteeing peace and security in the Korean Peninsula, Asia and the rest of the world, the delegate president noted.

The mayor of Santos City of Sao Paulo State of Brazil stressed that the exhibition would mark an important occasion in promoting the understanding of the DPRK among the Brazilian people including the citizens of Santos City and boosting the relations of friendship and cooperation between the two governments and peoples.

Messages of greetings to Kim Jong Il were adopted at the meetings held in Bulgaria, France and Switzerland.
