Japan Urged to Make Reparation for Crime-Woven Past
Pyongyang, September 12 (KCNA) -- M. Jahangir Khan, chairman of the Bangladesh Group for the Study of the Songun Policy, released a statement on Sept. 6 in connection with the lapse of a century since the fabrication of the "Korea-Japan Annexation Treaty" by the Japanese imperialists.

The statement recalled that the Japanese imperialists forced Korea to conclude the above-said treaty in wanton violation of the elementary principles and regulations on the conclusion of an international treaty in a bid to exterminate the Korean nation 100 years ago.

After illegally occupying Korea the Japanese imperialists enforced a harsh colonial rule over it and reduced the Koreans to their miserable colonial slaves, committing countless crimes against humanity in Korea, it noted.

The statement urged Japan to make sincere apology and reparation to the Korean people for imposing unspeakable misfortune and disasters upon them and immediately stop its acts of distorting history.

The organization will join all the peace-loving people in the world in conducting a more dynamic just struggle to force Japan to settle its past crimes, declared the statement.
