The statement recalled that 65 years since the U.S. imperialists occupied south Korea were a period during which they intensified the fascist dictatorial rule by putting forward pro-Japanese elements and traitors to the nation, killed patriotic people aspiring after independence, democracy and reunification and brought the dark clouds of war to always hang over this land.

It accused the U.S. of working hard to legalize its presence in south Korea, while frantically kicking up a nuclear war racket against the DPRK, and the Lee Myung Bak forces of bringing to a collapse the inter-Korean relations which had favorably developed after the adoption of the June 15 joint declaration, cracking down upon the struggle for independence against the U.S. and tightening alliance for a war with the U.S. and Japan.

In order to put an end to the tragedy of national division it is necessary for all Koreans to pool their efforts to pull the U.S. forces out of this land and eliminate their stooges, the "Grand National Party" and Lee Myung Bak dictatorial forces, it noted.

It called on all the fellow countrymen to conduct a vigorous struggle for the withdrawal of the U.S. troops and the elimination of traitors by their concerted efforts.
