Among the participants were officials of ministries and national institutions and those in the field of scientific researches and wind energy experts.

Also attending it were Stefan Gsanger, secretary-general of the World Wind Energy Association, and wind energy experts of Germany and China.

The workshop was held on the subjects of the development of wind energy in the DPRK and the rest of the world and its prospect, designing and manufacturing technology of wind power generators, assessment of their qualities, test and measurement of the generators, etc.

The participants of the workshop also exchanged successes and experience gained in the work to develop wind energy.
