Release of Rev. Han Sang Ryol Demanded

| Pyongyang, September 10 (KCNA) -- The Christian Measure Committee for Reverend Han Sang Ryol's Visit to the North for Implementing the June 15 Declaration in south Korea held a meeting in Seoul on Sept. 7 demanding the release of the reverend, a reunification champion. The participants of the meeting charged that the authorities' detention of the reverend who visited the north at the risk of his life for the peace and reunification of the Korean Peninsula is an infringement upon the conscience of a religionist. They declared that it was a just deed for him to turn out in the struggle for reunification to bring earlier the day when Koreans can live together. No matter how desperately the authorities may suppress his just activities, they can never stop the people from advancing for reunification, they held, strongly demanding his release. |
