Lee Myung Bak's "Unification Tax" Flailed
Pyongyang, August 22 (KCNA) -- After traitor Lee Myung Bak spelled out "unification tax" at the "August 15 commemoration address" the south Korean puppet Ministry of Unification buckled down to building up public opinion for it. Some days ago, spokesman and deputy spokesman for the ministry vied with each other to bluster that they would "work out a concrete action program" concerning "unification tax", elicit "sympathy from people" through discussions with people of different social standings and "prepare follow-up measures" and the like. In other words, it is their intention to elicit support from people for "unification tax" and put it into practice.

Rodong Sinmun Sunday observes in a signed commentary in this regard:

"Unification tax" spelled out by traitor Lee Myung Bak is an undisguised revelation of his treacherous ambition for "unification of systems" while the rhetoric let loose by the coteries of "the Ministry of Unification" means the first-phase full-fledged action to put Lee's ambition into practice.

This is a hideous provocation against the dignity of the DPRK and the most advantageous socialist system in it and a declaration of vicious confrontation of systems which can never be pardoned by all the Koreans in the north and the south as the traitor had the nonsensical "contingency" in his mind when spelling out the "unification tax," the news analyst notes, and goes on:

The Lee group has gone desperate in its moves to build up public opinion over "unification tax", hoodwink the people and realize its wild ambition but it will get it nowhere.

The south Koreans will never be taken in by the group of traitors' rhetoric about "unification" intended to conceal its sinister ambition for "unification of systems" but will surely deal sledge-hammer blows at the group for its treacherous act of escalating confrontation between the north and the south and increasing the danger of a war.

The Lee group had better mind its own business on the verge of bankruptcy, before impudently spelling out "unification tax."
