Korean People's Struggle for National Reunification Supported
Pyongyang, August 19 (KCNA) -- Shapril Arsiyad, chairman of the Indonesian Federation of Transport Workers Unions, released a statement on Aug. 12 on the occasion of the 13th anniversary of the publication of General Secretary Kim Jong Il's work "Let Us Carry Out the Great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung's Instructions for National Reunification".

The statement noted that Kim Jong Il formulated as the three charters for national reunification the three principles of national reunification, the 10-point programme of the great unity of the whole nation and the proposal for founding the Democratic Federal Republic of Koryo set forth by President Kim Il Sung and comprehensively indicated the fundamental principle for national reunification and ways for its implementation.

The Korean people have made strenuous efforts to achieve the independent and peaceful reunification of the country by the concerted efforts of the nation on the basis of the three charters, it said, and went on:

The south Korean conservative forces fabricated the case of sunken warship "Cheonan" in collusion with the U.S. and linked it with the DPRK and are staging large-scale war exercises for aggression, bringing dark clouds of a war to hang over the Korean Peninsula.

We vehemently denounce the moves of the U.S. and the south Korean conservative forces against the reunification of Korea and extend full support and solidarity to the Korean people in their just struggle to defend the sovereignty of the country and achieve the peaceful reunification.
