US Not Qualified to Talk about Human Rights
Pyongyang, August 18 (KCNA) -- The Helsinki Human Rights Fund which has pursued inquiry into the issue of existence of U.S. secret prisons disclosed recently a new document exposing the fact that the CIA has operated a secret prison in Poland.

Minju Joson Wednesday observes in a signed commentary in this regard:

The recent disclosure provided another irrefutable material evidence proving the fact that the U.S. abused rights of prisoners after setting up secret prisons in East European countries.

There are a series of material evidence proving that U.S. secret prisons actually existed and prisoners were maltreated there, but it has never admitted the facts. This is a mockery and insult to the human rights.

The U.S. is more talkative about human rights than any others though it has such poor human rights record, the commentary notes, and goes on:

The U.S. is apt to advise other countries over their "human rights" issues, behaving as if it were an "international human rights judge" and "inspector." Shortly ago, the U.S. released a report on human rights to pull up other countries over human rights records.

The U.S. has neither face nor qualification to talk about someone's human rights.

The U.S. would be well advised to take pain to improve its poor human rights record before taking issue with other countries' human right situation.

If the U.S. is truly interested in guaranteeing human rights, it should open the existence of its secret prisons in different parts of the world and human rights abuses committed by it there to the international community and severely punish those responsible for them.
