S. Korean Minister of Unification's Reckless Remarks Blasted
Pyongyang, August 17 (KCNA) -- South Korean puppet Minister of Unification Hyon In Thaek at a recent seminar talked nonsense that "the north is standing at the crossroads of change and option," vociferating about someone's "provocations" and "the act of inviting self-isolation." Making malignant accusations against the DPRK over the warship "Cheonan" case, he presumptuously cried out for "putting the situation under control".

Rodong Sinmun Tuesday observes in a signed commentary in this regard:

This is nothing but a brigandish logic putting the cart before the horse and a mockery and challenge to the public opinion at home and abroad demanding the improved inter-Korean relations and a switchover in the policy of confrontation with the DPRK.

The south Korean conservative group is wholly to blame for this collapse of the inter-Korean relations as it has desperately followed an anti-reunification policy "towards the north" and frantically pursued the confrontation in collusion with foreign forces since its seizure of power.

It is none other than the south Korean authorities that stand at the crossroads of ceaseless confrontation or detente because they have been thrown into a predicament, repudiated and condemned by the public at home and abroad for being hell-bent on confrontation after faking up the warship case.

This being a hard reality, Hyon is so brazen-faced as to dare call for "a change in the north's attitude" and "option," vociferating about "provocation" and "isolation" and laying the blame for the collapse of the inter-Korean relations and escalated tension at the door of the DPRK.

A whole string of jargons let loose by mandarins of the Lee Myung Bak regime indicate that the conservative group remains unchanged in its policy intended to steadily strain the situation over the warship case and provoke a war of aggression against the DPRK.
