The organizational secretary of the Communist Party of Venezuela said that the party established and has long developed the friendly relations based on the revolutionary principles with the Workers' Party of Korea. And he expressed belief that the Korean people would surely win in the struggle to defend the sovereignty of the country from the imperialists' aggression moves.

The chief of the Franken Group for the Study of the Juche Idea of Germany spoke highly of the Songun leadership exploits of Kim Jong Il, saying that the self-reliant defence capabilities of the DPRK have been unprecedentedly increased since he gave his field guidance to a tank division of the Korean People's Army 50 years ago and eye-opening successes have been made on all fronts of economic construction.

The director of the Council of Art and Culture under the Ministry of Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria noted with high appreciation that President Kim Il Sung liberated Korea from the colonial rule of the Japanese imperialists, built a socialist system in the DPRK where the people are masters and devoted his all to national reunification.

A message of greetings to Kim Jong Il was adopted at the function in Germany.

Meanwhile, a national seminar on the Songun politics took place in Valencia, Venezuela on Aug. 6 and Alejandro Cao de Benos, chairman of the Korean Friendship Association headquartered in Spain, issued a statement on Aug. 9 to mark the 50th anniversary of Kim Jong Il's start of Songun revolutionary leadership.
