Tribute Paid to Kim Il Sung
Pyongyang, August 15 (KCNA) -- Servicepersons and people from all walks of life visited the Kumsusan Memorial Palace on Sunday to pay tribute to President Kim Il Sung on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of Korea's liberation.

They paid high tribute to the statue of the President with strong yearning and boundless reverence for him who led the anti-Japanese war to a victory to liberate the country and built a socialist power on this land.

They made bows in profound reverence to the President who devoted his whole life to the prosperity of the country, the freedom and happiness of the people and the accomplishment of the human cause of independence.

Foreigners also visited the palace on the same day to pay homage to the President. They include the Chinese youth friendship delegation led by Zhou Zhangkui, secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League of China, the delegation of the Japanese Society for the Study of the Juche Idea led by Seiichi Sakugawa, president of the National Liaison Council of Societies for the Study of the Juche Idea, and the delegation of the Japanese Youth Society for the Study of the Juche Idea led by Nobuaki Endo.

They made entries in the visitors' book.
