Struggle for Korea's Reunification Supported
Pyongyang, August 11 (KCNA) -- The Norway-DPRK Friendship Association released a bulletin on Aug. 2 on the occasion of the 13th anniversary of the publication of General Secretary
Kim Jong Il's work "Let Us Carry Out the Great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung's Instructions for National Reunification".

The bulletin noted that in the work published on August 4, 1997, Kim Jong Il formulated the three principles of national reunification--independence, peaceful reunification and the great national unity--, the 10-point programme of the great unity of the whole nation and the proposal for founding the Democratic Federal Republic of Koryo advanced by President Kim Il Sung as the three charters for national reunification.

Thanks to his energetic activities and bold decision the year 2000 saw the inter-Korean summit, the first of its kind in the Korean nation's history of division, and the adoption of the June 15 joint declaration the keynote of which is the idea of "By our nation itself" and the start of the June 15 era of reunification in which the north and the south of Korea are advancing towards the reconciliation, unity and reunification, it said.

The bulletin stressed that the Norwegian friends of the DPRK are convinced that the Korean people will surely win in the struggle to achieve the independent and peaceful reunification of the country by their own efforts without foreign interference, true to Kim Il Sung's instructions for national reunification under the distinguished leadership of Kim Jong Il, and extend invariable support and solidarity to their struggle.
