Lee Myung Bak Urged to Step down in S. Korea
Pyongyang, August 9 (KCNA) -- Paek Ki Wan, chief of the Unification Study Center, O Jong Ryol, permanent advisor of the Solidarity for Progress, Ri So Son, advisor of the Council of Bereaved Families for the Nation and Democracy, and other personages of south Korea made public a 100-people declaration on the situation on Aug. 5, demanding the resignation of traitor Lee Myung Bak.

The declaration charged that since its emergence the Lee regime has been engaged in the moves to stamp out democracy, deteriorate the people's livelihood and escalate the confrontation between the south and the north.

It demanded that the Lee regime thoroughly probe the truth about the warship sinking case, immediately stop the project for "improving four large rivers" and apologize for the crackdown committed under the pretext of public security and the illegal investigation into civilians.

It warned that if Lee persists in the dictatorial rule, all the people would turn out in the struggle for forcing the present "government" to step down.
