Story of Kim Jong Suk
Pyongyang, August 5 (KCNA) -- One day in early February Juche 35 (1946), President Kim Il Sung stayed up all night in his office to prepare a report to be delivered at the inaugural meeting of the Provisional People's Committee of North Korea.

A bodyguard who was going round the building at 2 a.m. was surprised to see anti-Japanese heroine Kim Jong Suk standing by the window of the President's office.

She was on guard outside for the safety of the President, exposed to snow.

The bodyguard asked her to go home, leaving guard to him.

But she, with a smile on her face, told him that she had got into a habit of guarding the President from the days of the anti-Japanese armed struggle.
