Stop to Project for "Four Rivers" Demanded in S. Korea

Pyongyang, July 29 (KCNA) -- At least 1,300 Christians of south Korea on Monday made public a declaration in protest against the project for "improving four large rivers" on the part of the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors.

In the declaration they accused the authorities of their unreasonable action such as unilaterally and forcibly pushing the project despite the opposition of the overwhelming majority of the people.

To destroy environment under the pretext of "economic development" is a crime, they pointed out, declaring that they would conduct the protest campaign until the project has been stopped.
