Rev. Han Sang Ryol Tours Mt. Paektu Area
Pyongyang, July 27 (KCNA) -- Rev. Han Sang Ryol, pro-reunification champion of south Korea, toured the revolutionary battle sites and revolutionary sites in the area of Mt. Paektu.

He visited General Secretary Kim Jong Il's birthplace in the secret camp of Mt. Paektu and went round the historic relics, being briefed on the fact that he grew, hearing the gunfire during the great anti-Japanese war as a lullaby.

He climbed Mt. Paektu.

From the top of the mountain he commanded a bird's- eye view of the majestic appearance of the holy mountain, the exciting landscape of the shores of Lake Chon and many mountain ranges reminiscent of the blood vessel of the nation.

He made the rounds of the Samjiyon Grand Monument, the Monument to Victory in Battles in Musan Area, Sajabong secret camp, the Sinsadong Revolutionary Battle Site, the Mupho camping area, the Chongbong Bivouac Ground, the Pegaebong Guerilla Camp, the Rimyongsu Revolutionary Site, etc.

He visited the Paektu Museum, the Samjiyon Schoolchildren's Palace, the Changphyong Farm in Taehongdan County, the Taehongdan Potato Processing Factory, etc. and met with working people in Samjiyon County.

In the meantime, Han visited the Sinchon Museum, Changdok School, etc. and met with members of the Media Panel and the Literature and Art Panel of the North Committee for Implementing the June 15 Joint Declaration.
