US Urged to Roll Back Its Policy of Double Standards
Pyongyang, July 17 (KCNA) -- The U.S. unfair policy of double standards is not only a source of disturbing the international peace and stability but a stumbling block in establishing fair international relations.

Rodong Sinmun Saturday observes this in a signed article.

It goes on:

Israel's nuclear weaponization has gone beyond the danger line and its aggressor forces are going on the rampage in the occupied territory of Palestine because of the U.S. zealous support and patronage.

The ulterior aim of the U.S. is to use Israel as a "trump card" in putting under its control Iran, a main stumbling block in realizing its strategy for dominating the Middle East. While making desperate efforts to deprive Iran of the right to nuclear activities for peaceful purposes the U.S. is keeping mum about Israel's evermore undisguised nuclear threat and blackmail and encouraging it behind the scene. This attitude is a most vivid manifestation of the U.S. application of its double standards.

Israel has recently committed such bestial atrocities as barbarously attacking an international humanitarian aid flotilla in the open sea on its way to Gaza, claiming dozens of casualties.

The U.S., however, supported and defended criminals, laying bare itself as a disturber of Mideast peace and an accomplice in human rights abuses.

What is more intolerable is that the U.S. worked hard to shield Israel's terrorism even at the UN and zealously backed the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors who orchestrated an anti-DPRK conspiratorial farce, crying out for tightening the "sanctions" and the like against it in a bid to do harm to it. This is nothing but an intolerable insult and infringement upon the dignity and authority of the DPRK and a typical example of the unreasonable application of double standards.

The U.S. biased and double-dealing attitude goes to prove that it is a special class political gambler who shows "leniency" to its servants and pressurizes and isolates and stifles those countries hostile toward it by branding them as "criminals" through all sorts of slanders and plots.

The world can never be in peace and the international relations cannot but remain complicated as long as the U.S. is allowed to persist in its unfair policy of double standards in collusion with its allied forces.
