DPRK Beats New Zealand in Women's Football

| Pyongyang, July 17 (KCNA) -- The DPRK women's football team trounced its New Zealand rival 2:1 in its second game of league matches in FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup 2010. Yun Hyon Hi successfully scored a goal in around 12th minute of the first half and Kim Un Hyang succeeded in a penalty kick in around 65th minute in the second half of the game that took place on Saturday (Pyongyang time). Through this win the DPRK team gained total of six points, opening a bright prospect for advancing into quarter finals. The DPRK team will meet with its Swedish rival on July 20 in the last game of league matches. |
