Megawati Soekarnoputri, chairwoman of the Central Directive Council of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle, said this when meeting with Jong Chun Gun, DPRK ambassador to Indonesia, on July 8.

She hoped that Korea would be reunified as early as possible as desired by Kim Il Sung so that the Korean people might live in peace and happiness in the reunified country.

Expressing wish that the relations between the two countries would continue to favorably develop on the basis of the tradition of the friendly relations provided by President Sukarno and Kim Il Sung, she reiterated her will to make positive efforts to this end.
