Wonsan Martyrs Cemetery Completed
Pyongyang, July 7 (KCNA) -- The construction of the Wonsan Martyrs Cemetery was completed.

Buried in the cemetery are remains of anti-Japanese patriotic martyrs including Kim Chang Son, Jong Su Yong, Choe Jung Son, Jo Hong Hi, An Ki Ok, Jon Ku Ha and others who devoted their all to the sacred struggle for national liberation true to the leadership of President Kim Il Sung.

A ceremony for the completion of the cemetery was held on Sunday.

Present there were officials of party, power and economic institutions and working people's organizations and bereaved families in the province and others.

The participants placed wreaths and bouquets at the cemetery before paying silent tribute to the martyrs.

Paek Gye Ryong, chief secretary of the Kangwon Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, said in his speech at the ceremony that the cemetery was a monument associated with the great loving care and benevolence shown by General Secretary Kim Jong Il to ensure that the soldiers who made their lives worthwhile on the road of the revolution are always remembered.

At the end of the ceremony, the participants looked round the cemetery.
