Speakers at the rally accused the "Intelligence Service" (IS) of unreasonably investigating members of the Solidarity for Progress on charges of the violation of the "National Security Law" (NSL) after branding their exchange and cooperation with the north conducted legally after the publication of the June 15 joint declaration as "espionage."

Recalling that the IS, in particular, in the course of its investigation questioned about the activities conducted by the South Side Committee for Implementing the June 15 Joint Declaration, they declared that this showed who is the target of the next suppression.

They termed this repressive campaign a premeditated crackdown of the security authorities to eliminate the progressive forces.

They called upon the organizations grouping people of various circles to go united and struggle against the crackdown of the authorities based on the NSL.
