Present at the meeting were the captains and crewmen of Chinese-flagged ship "Zhonghua-18" and Togolese-flagged ship "Toei-maru".

Speakers at the meeting recalled that the world progressives recollect with deep emotion the great revolutionary life of Kim Il Sung, outstanding elder statesman, with profound trust in him.

Kim Il Sung, upon embarking on the road of the revolution in his teens, founded the Juche idea and led to victory the struggle for sovereignty, independence and socialism, they said, adding:

Kim Il Sung was an outstanding leader and the great sun of mankind as he clearly indicated the way not only for the Korean people but for other revolutionary people of the world to follow.

He made a great contribution to the history of the development of world politics, they noted, adding that his exploits would always remain shining with the century.
