Seen there was a wreath from Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army.

Present at the wreath-laying ceremony were Kim Ki Nam, secretary of the WPK Central Committee, Hwang Sun Hui, curator of the Korean Revolution Museum, officers and men of the KPA and officials concerned.

Also on hand were Jong Il Sim, wife of An Tong Su, and a member of the bereaved family who are residing in Russia.

Placed before the grave were wreaths in the name of the Ministry of the People's Armed Forces, a unit of the KPA, the Korean Revolution Museum and the Bureau of Service for Overseas Compatriots and bunches of flowers.

The participants paid a silent tribute to the memory of An who died a heroic death in the battlefield of the Fatherland Liberation War.
