Lee Myung Bak Groups' Suppression of Labor Movement Flayed
Pyongyang, June 26 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions held a rally in Seoul on June 23 denouncing the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors for its unpopular rule and suppression of the labor movement.

The rally was held in a terror-ridden atmosphere with at least 10,000 riot policemen of 100 companies laying a siege to the venue.

Speakers at the rally accused the Lee Myung Bak "government" of deciding to put into force evil laws including the "Law on Trade Unions" aimed at stamping out the labor movement.

Such action of the authorities is little short of abusing the rights of not only workers but all other people and reveals their intention to totally stamp out the trade unions standing in the way of realizing their unpopular and anti-reunification policies, they noted, declaring that they would intensify the struggle to punish the Lee Myung Bak regime without fail.

At the end of the rally its participants staged a demonstration to hand a written protest to "Chongwadae".
