Kim Jong Il's Feats Lauded
Pyongyang, June 26 (KCNA) -- Meetings, film shows and book exhibitions were held in Denmark, Norway, Pakistan, South Africa and India from June 16 to 18 to commemorate the 46th anniversary of General Secretary Kim Jong Il's start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Exhibited in the venues were his works and photos on his undying feats and books introducing the Songun Korea.

Speeches were made there.

The chairman of the National Leadership of the Danish Communist Party said at the meeting that
Kim Jong Il has firmly defended Korean-style socialism, holding higher the banner of Songun towards the close of the last century.

He said he was of confident that the Korean people would smash the ceaseless anti-DPRK smear campaign of the imperialists and surely win a victory in their struggle to build a socialist thriving nation under the leadership of the WPK.

The chairman of the Ostfold County Committee of the Communist Party of Norway declared at the meeting that he would raise his voices strongly denouncing the anti-DPRK smear campaign of the imperialists and supporting the struggle of the Korean people.

The chairman of the Pakistan Association for Self-Reliance Studies stressed at the meeting that it is entirely thanks to the great leader that the WPK has firmly preserved its character and tradition along with the august name of its founder and given fuller play to its might.

The participants of the film shows watched Korean films including "Fireworks for a Thriving Nation" and "Night of Pyongyang."

Messages of greetings to Kim Jong Il were adopted at the meetings held in Denmark, Norway and Pakistan.
