The appeal said that the participants unanimously highlighted the three principles of independence, peaceful reunification and great national unity advanced by President Kim Il Sung as an invariable guideline for Korea's reunification, and highly appreciated General Secretary Kim Jong Il who is now writing a new chapter of independent reunification with the Songun politics.

They expressed the belief that the implementation of the June 15 joint declaration is the shortcut to the ultimate end of the history of north-south confrontation and to reunification of Korea, the appeal noted, adding:

The participants call upon the governments, political parties and organizations in different countries of the world to launch broader movement supporting the independent reunification of Korea throughout the world, to launch more dynamic international solidarity movement to give positive support to the June 15 joint declaration as the most above-board reunification programme and ensure its uninterrupted implementation, to strongly condemn the war moves of the U.S., Japan and the south Korean authorities as a threat to peace and security on the Korean Peninsula and in the rest of the world and arouse the international public opinion demanding peace on the Korean Peninsula and to intensify the international solidarity movement to frustrate the reckless confrontation moves against the DPRK triggered off by the U.S. and the south Korean authorities with the fabrication of the sinking of warship "Cheonan", the biggest of all farce and charade.

The appeal expressed the firm belief that all governments, political parties and organizations and peace-loving people in different countries of the world will voice stronger support and solidarity with the Korean people in their just efforts to frustrate the war moves of the U.S. and its followers.
