Indignation Meeting of Workers Held
Pyongyang, June 23 (KCNA) -- Trade union members and other workers of the DPRK held an indignation meeting Wednesday on the occasion of "June 25, the day of struggle against the U.S. imperialists". It took place on the bank of the Taedong River in Pyongyang, where there is the monument to the sinking of the U.S. aggression ship "General Sherman" and the U.S. imperialist armed spy ship "Pueblo" is exhibited.

Speakers at the meeting said that the Korean War, ignited by the U.S. imperialists 60 years ago, was the most infamous and brigandish one ever in the world history of wars, an aggression war consistent with barbarous slaughters and destruction. And they disclosed the monstrous atrocities committed by the U.S. imperialist murderers.

Remains of people are still found in cities, villages, mountains and valleys of Korea, they noted, adding that those remains lay bare the brutality of the U.S. imperialist aggressors, who are human only in shape, and their crimes.

More than half a century has passed since the ceasefire, but the U.S. imperialists still remain in south Korea, persistently impeding the Korean people's cause of national reunification, the speakers pointed out.

Charging that the U.S. imperialists in collusion with the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors have been getting hell-bent on the reckless anti-DPRK confrontation with the sinking case of the puppet navy's warship as an opportunity, thus driving the situation of the Korean Peninsula to the brink of war, they expressed their firm determination to resolutely wipe out the enemies in the do-or-die spirit displayed by the heroic Korean people in the last Fatherland Liberation War and carry out the historic cause of national reunification.

An indignation statement was read out at the meeting.
