S. Korean Minister of Unification's Outbursts Blasted
Pyongyang, June 23 (KCNA) -- Traitor Hyon In Thaek, minister of "Unification" of south Korea, in his "National Assembly interpellation" on June 15 again let loose a spate of provocative outbursts about "contingency," floating a sheer lie about "mayhem" and the like.

He made a piffle getting on the nerves of the DPRK at a "seminar" on what he called "strategy toward the north" held next day. He prattled that two or three years to come are a "turning point" and there should be an "option" and the like.

Rodong Sinmun Wednesday observes in a signed commentary in this regard:

The provocative remarks made by Hyon In Thaek only betray his criminal intention to do harm to the DPRK come what may and realize his treacherous ambition for "the unification of systems" as they were a total denial of its dignified system.

On the day marking the 10th anniversary of the publication of the June 15 joint declaration he did not appear at the meeting commemorating it but showed up at other event, again vociferating about "contingency," a sheer fiction. This fact alone clearly indicates how deeply he is steeped in his hysteria to foster the confrontation between the two different systems and the idea of realizing the ambition to achieve "the unification of systems."

Hyon's trumpeting about "turning point" and "option" are as nonsensical as the story about "contingency," the commentary notes, and goes on:

This only betrays the sinister intention of the group of traitors to block the advance of the DPRK, displeased with it, and realize its wicked scenario for achieving "the unification of systems" through disturbing rackets.

If the inter-Korean relations are to be mended, it is necessary to force Hyon In Thaek, a wicked confrontation maniac, to step down at once.

"Contingency" and "changes" in the DPRK of which the puppet forces so much dreamed can never happen.

No matter what rhetoric the group of traitors may spell out, no one will pay heed to it.
