This work, published on April 6, Juche 82 (1993), comprehensively clarifies the ways for realizing the great national unity such as the matters of founding a unified state through the unity of the whole nation based on patriotism and the spirit of national independence, promoting co-existence, co-prosperity and common interests and ending all political disputes that foment division and confrontation between fellow countrymen, ensuring confidence and unity between the north and the south and joining hands on the road to national reunification without rejecting each other because of differences in ideals and principles.
