S. Korean Traitors' Policy for Confrontation with DPRK Lambasted
Pyongyang, June 21 (KCNA) -- The Association of Religionists for National Reconciliation and Peace of south Korea held a press conference in Seoul on June 17 at which it strongly denounced the puppet group of traitors for its escalated confrontation with the DPRK.

At the press conference speakers said that the Lee Myung Bak "government" has escalated confrontation with the DPRK in the wake of the "Cheonan" case, noting with concern: It seems that the days have come back when slogan "march north to unify" was prevalent, and the nation may suffer from the same misfortune as the June 25 war if the situation is allowed to go as it is.

Religionists' antipathy against the "government" is running high and their patience has reached the limit, they said, urging Lee Myung Bak to take serious note of it and retract the confrontational attitude toward the DPRK.

The organization issued a press release signed by 527 religionists of the five orders; Christianity, Buddhism, Zen Buddhism, Chondoism and Catholics.

The press release demanded the authorities drop at once the policy for totally suspending exchange and cooperation between the south and the north. It said that the religionists would strive for the reunification, reconciliation and peace of the nation.
