S. Korean Authorities' Suppression of Reunification Movement Flailed
Pyongyang, June 21 (KCNA) -- The Solidarity for Implementing the South-North Joint Declaration of south Korea on June 18 issued a statement under the title "Let's condemn the Lee Myung Bak regime for resorting to suppression under the pretext of security".

The statement recalled that on the same day the police stormed and searched the house of Mun Kyong Hwan, a hardcore member of the organization.

Mun served a prison term as a victim to the case against the solidarity cooked up by the authorities in 2008, the statement said, adding: The renewed suppression of him on charges of violation of the "National Security Law" is precisely the crackdown on the solidarity. This glaringly reveals the fascist nature of the authorities.

The present regime is getting frantic in the suppression of the reunification movement organization in a bid to retrieve its defeat at the "elections to local self-governing bodies" and its failed racket for "north wind" kicked off with the case of warship "Cheonan" sinking as a momentum.

The indiscriminate suppression will render the Lee Myung Bak regime further isolated, it said, stressing that the people will punish the present regime through their powerful solidarity struggle against Lee.
