Japan's Moves for Militarization Slammed
Pyongyang, June 16 (KCNA) -- The Liberal Democratic Party of Japan is now reportedly mulling reexamining a "great program for defense planning" designed to revise the "three principles of arms export." Earlier, the party submitted a "draft bill on cooperation in international peace-keeping operations" to the House of Representatives so that the "Self-Defense Forces" may be dispatched overseas anytime.

Rodong Sinmun Wednesday observes in a signed commentary in this regard:

Such reckless moves of the Japanese reactionaries for militarization are as foolish an act as jumping into fire with faggot on their backs.

The above-said move stepped up by the LDP group under the pretext of dispelling the "uneasiness of the people" indicates that the Japanese reactionaries' moves for militarization have reached a reckless phase.

The above-said program is nothing but a document for reinvasion and a war scenario. It is a product of the Japanese reactionaries' militarist ambition to increase the military spending and update and bolster up the SDF.

The above-mentioned draft bill also betrays the desperate efforts of the Japanese reactionaries to build the SDF into the world's first-class forces in a bid to take the status of a military power and fully provide conditions and capability for overseas military expansion.

It is open secret that Japan seeks to stage a comeback to Korea through a preempting attack and embark upon the road of conquering the rest of Asia. The "acquisition of capability for attacking enemy's base" much touted by the Japanese reactionaries is prompted by their sinister intention to mount a preemptive strike at the DPRK.

Japan would be well advised to behave itself, bearing deep in mind the fact that its moves to convert it into a military giant and realize its wild ambition for overseas expansion will bring it nothing but death and destruction.
