Speakers at the rally accused the Lee Myung Bak regime of having totally denied the idea of the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration supported by all the Koreans and world people and fanned up political and military confrontation with the DPRK from the outset of its seizure of power.

In particular, the authorities are getting hell-bent on the war moves aimed at exterminating the nation and a racket for applying sanctions against the DPRK in collusion with outside forces with the case of warship "Cheonan's" sinking as a momentum, thus escalating the tension between the south and the north and increasing the danger of a war, they noted.

They urged the authorities to retract the policy of confrontation with the DPRK and opt for implementing the joint declarations.

It is necessary to certainly implement the June 15 joint declaration, a milestone of reunification, at any cost, they said, calling upon all the people to wage a dynamic struggle against the Lee "government" which turns down the demand of the people and threatens reunification and peace.
