The precious achievements made in the June 15 era of reunification are the shinning fruition of the personality of you as a great man born of Heaven and the extraordinary political caliber of you who have led the struggle for national reunification to victory with your invincible Songun leadership and all-embracing patriotic politics with your fixed will for reunification to carry out without fail President Kim Il Sung's instructions for national reunification.

Chongryon and Koreans in Japan will make a tangible contribution to achieving national reunification by the concerted efforts of the whole nation true to your idea and intention, enshrining the faith in sure victory that the country's reunification is sure to be achieved and a bright future of the nation is in safe hands as long as they are led by you, the letter said, and emphasized:

We will arouse broad strata of compatriots in Japan to the cause of national reunification by getting united with the "Mindan"-lining compatriots and compatriots of various other strata under the banner of "By our nation itself" and conduct an international movement positively supporting our nation's cause of independent reunification among the progressive people of Japan and other countries of the world.
