Present there from the DPRK side were the members of the delegation of the DPRK Ministry of Foreign Affairs headed by Vice-Minister Kim Hyong Jun and the DPRK ambassador to Egypt and from the Egyptian side the members of the delegation of the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs headed by Assistant Foreign Minister for Asian Affairs, Australia, New Zealand and Pacific Ahmed Amin Fathallah.

At the talks both sides informed each other of the situation in their countries and exchanged views on the matters of mutual concerns.
