Korean People's Struggle for Reunification Supported
Pyongyang, June 14 (KCNA) -- The Czech, Moravian, Silesian Trade Unions' Association of the Czech Republic issued a statement on June 8 on the occasions of the 10th anniversary of the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration and the June 25-July 27 month of anti-U.S. joint struggle.

Expressing full support and solidarity with the Korean people in the struggle for the implementation of the joint declaration and the independent and peaceful reunification of the country, the statement said:

The inter-Korean relations are now inching close to the extremely dangerous phase owing to the U.S. and the south Korean authorities' hostile policy toward the DPRK.

The inter-Korean declaration, which gave the whole world the hope for peace and detente on the Korean Peninsula and cooperation between the north and the south, has been reduced to a scrap of paper and the situation of the peninsula is at the dangerous state in which another Korean war may break out.

In order to heal the crisis prevailed on the peninsula and prevent the danger of a war, it is necessary to conclude a peace treaty between the DPRK and the U.S., lift the unfair sanctions against the DPRK and immediately withdraw the U.S. troops from south Korea.

Regarding the joint declaration as the milestone for Korea's reunification, the association expresses full support and solidarity with the Korean people's efforts for the independent and peaceful reunification of the country.
