Training Centre of Young Musicians
Pyongyang, June 9 (KCNA) -- Kyongsang Kindergarten in Central District, Pyongyang, has produced many young musicians.

A lot of girls and boys who studied music at the kindergarten have grown up to be local and international music concours winners and conductors, creators, performers and teachers of such famous art troupes as State Merited Chorus, Unhasu Orchestra, Samjiyon Band of the Mansudae Art Troupe and State Symphony Orchestra, and art education institutions, including Pyongyang Kim Won Gyun Conservatory.

Among those who studied at the kindergarten are Ma Sin A who played the piano well in the concert marking the Day of the Sun, the birthday of the President Kim Il Sung, in April this year and Yu Pyol Mi who won the top prize and special prize in the 56th Schumann International Juvenile Piano Concours.

The kindergarten has made many teaching aids, books and videos suitable for the children's feelings for their education. It has also contributed to the development of early musical education in the country.

Teachers who are in charge of their basic musical education are graduates from Pyongyang Kim Won Gyun Conservatory.

The kindergarten has commuter buses for its children.
