A deputy mayor of Nezahualcoyotl City in Mexico State of Mexico noted with high appreciation that the WPK has developed into an invincible party with the steadfast guiding idea and a mass party united in mind which has taken its roots deep among the popular masses under the experienced and seasoned leadership of Kim Jong Il.

He stressed that the exploits performed by Kim Jong Il for the development of the WPK for 40 odd years would remain long.

Censuring the U.S. and the south Korean authorities for their frantic and vicious smear campaign against the DPRK, the speaker expressed support for the DPRK's resolute and principled stand to defend the security of the country and the sovereignty of the nation.

The chairman of the Brazilian Committee for Solidarity with the DPRK who doubles as chairman of the Brazilian Preparatory Committee for Commemorating the Centenary of Birth of President Kim Il Sung expressed full support and solidarity with the struggle of the heroic Korean people achieving signal successes under the leadership of Kim Jong Il.

The meeting in Mexico was followed by a performance given by Mexican artistes.
