- S. Korea Can Never Evade Responsibility for Hideous Crime
Pyongyang, June 7 (KCNA) -- The south Korean puppet group is now making desperate efforts to escape the public criticism of it mounting as the truth about the case of warship sinking orchestrated by it is now being gradually brought to light in the eyes of the world, but it can never evade the responsibility for this hideous crime.

Rodong Sinmun Monday observes this in a signed commentary.

It says:

Some days ago, the puppet military dared dismiss as "a false claim" the statement made at the press conference held by the DPRK National Defence Commission giving with perfect logic the lie to the assertion that "its warship was sunken by a torpedo attack from the north". And they also let loose a whole string of jargons that "it is possible for an underwater boat to carry a heavy torpedo" and a torpedo is also marked in the same style as in the north. They went the lengths of letting loose a tirade about "the impartiality of the investigation" into the case.

The puppet military group should have already been punished for the above-said case but it is persisting in its charade designed to groundlessly lay the blame for the case at the DPRK's door, lost to all sense of decency. This suggests that the puppet warmongers' behavior was prompted by their guilty conscience.

The public in south Korea and other parts of the world is now becoming more vocal than ever before asserting that the above-said case was jointly orchestrated by the U.S. and the south Korean authorities to achieve their sinister aims and demanding an overall reinvestigation into the case.

This being a hard reality, the puppet group is resorting to a cynical ploy to justify its assertion in a bid to mislead public opinion. This is nothing but a far-fetched assertion to cover up the truth about its anti-DPRK farce come what may and push the confrontation on the Korean Peninsula to the brink of a war without fail.

The puppet authorities are sadly mistaken if they calculate their poor charade will help escape the mounting criticism and condemnation of the public at home and abroad, observes the commentary.
