S. Korean Traitors Accused of Blocking Event

Pyongyang, May 31 (KCNA) -- The Lee Myung Bak group of south Korea blocked the event common to the nation marking the 10th anniversary of the publication of the June 15 joint declaration. This was an unpardonable action against reunification as it dampened the nation's desire for the country's reunification, ignoring the historic significance of the said declaration, and a grave treachery as it was intended to brutally suppress even the non-governmental movement for reunification and bring the inter-Korean relations to the worst phase of a war.

Rodong Sinmun Monday says this in a signed commentary.

The above-said action taken by the south Korean conservative authorities self-exposed their true colors as traitors who seek confrontation and war in total denial of the said declaration, the commentary notes, and goes on:

The puppet forces are now staging an anti-DPRK smear campaign and working with bloodshot eyes to ignite a war in collusion with outside forces with the sinking of a warship of the puppet navy as a momentum.

It is a sinister intention of the puppet group to weather its worst ruling crisis by employing such trite trick as groundlessly pulling up fellow countrymen in the run-up to the "elections to local self-governing bodies" and brutally crack down upon the pro-reunification patriotic movement of the south Korean people from all walks of life.
