KPA Officers Accuse S. Regime of Slandering DPRK
Pyongyang, May 25 (KCNA) -- The spokesman for the National Defence Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea issued a statement on May 20 denouncing the south Korean puppet authorities for linking the sinking of warship "Cheonan" with the DPRK in a far-fetched way.

The servicepersons and members of the Worker-Peasant Red Guards of the DPRK, fully supporting the statement, are determined to strongly react to their gangster-like provocation.

Hong Chol Ho, 36, an officer of the Korean People's Army, said in an interview with KCNA that the Lee Myung Bak regime's allegation about the DPRK's involvement in the incident was nothing but a deliberate farce aimed to shift the blame for the accident, apparently caused by the vessel's mistake, on to the DPRK, mislead the public opinion inside and outside and cover up its intention to unleash a war against the DPRK.

It is the position of the KPA to react to any "sanctions" with indiscriminate retaliation of its style and to any "confrontation" with an all-out righteous war, he said, adding:

All the servicepersons will never tolerate the south Korean traitors' smear campaign against the DPRK and if they start a war of aggression against the DPRK in alliance with the United States and Japan, they will face a stern punishment.

Kim Kwang Hyok, 22, a noncommissioned officer of the KPA, told KCNA that he could hardly repress his anger at the south Korean regime crying out for "punishment" and "retaliation" against the DPRK. He criticized the regime of taking the lead in confrontation with the fellow countrymen in the north with the backing of the U.S. imperialists.

O Chol Sun, 19, a member of the Worker-Peasant Red Guards, said the provocative act of the south Korean regime was just a desperate effort for propping up its political foundations and that she would keep herself ready for action to annihilate the enemy.
