Korean and Chinese Schools Friendly Meeting
Pyongyang May 20 (KCNA) -- A friendly meeting took place at Changdok School here on Thursday to mark the 50th anniversary of the establishment of friendly relations between Changdok School and the Jilin Yuwen Middle School of China.

Present there on invitation were the members of the friendship delegation of the Jilin Yuwen Middle School headed by Principal He Manli and Li Qingjiang, councilor of the Chinese embassy here.

Teachers and students of Changdok School including its Principal Kang Jun Ho were on hand.

Prior to the meeting, the members of the delegation laid a basket of flowers before the statue of President Kim Il Sung at the school to pay respects to him.

Then they looked round historic relics with keen interest, being briefed on the fact that Kim Il Sung grasped the truth of the revolution while experiencing the miserable reality of the country under the colonial rule of the Japanese imperialists in the days when he was studying at Changdok School.

They also visited several educational facilities of the school.

The participants in the meeting shared their view on boosting the relations between the two schools associated with the revolutionary history of Kim Il Sung and watched an art performance of students, deepening friendship.
